Council on Social, Humanitarian Policy and Educational Work

The Council on Social and Humanitarian Policy and Student Development is a standing advisory body of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies. It is responsible for analyzing the student development activities, preparing recommendations aimed at improving the quality of the educational process, and coordinating student development work at USUST. The main purpose of the Council is to coordinate the efforts of the university management and academic staff in enhancing the effectiveness of student development, promoting the formation of the national intellectual community, and fostering the spiritual elite of Ukrainian society.
 
The activities of the Council on Social and Humanitarian Policy and Student Development are based on a comprehensive approach that involves all academic staff of USUST, the Rector’s Office, student self-government bodies, and student public associations.
 
Members of the Council on Social and Humanitarian Policy and Student Development:
  • develop draft regulatory documents on student development activities at USUST;
  • review and approve (with amendments and recommendations) the student development plan for the university and its structural units for each academic year (semesters I and II), as proposed by the Student Development Office, as well as programs of student development activities, and develop mechanisms for their implementation;
  • monitor student development at USUST.
