USUST Council for the Quality of Educational Activities
The purpose of the Council’s work is to ensure the high quality of training of higher education specialists at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (USUST) through the methodological development of measures and procedures, as well as by providing recommendations for improving the organization of the educational process, introducing innovative teaching methods, and increasing the effectiveness of academic, methodological, and student development work.
The main tasks of the Council are:
- to analyze the main trends in the development of higher education in Ukraine and worldwide, and to develop recommendations for implementing best practices in academic and methodological work in the educational activities of USUST;
- to discuss draft regulatory documents governing the organization and academic-methodological support of the educational process, and to prepare recommendations for their improvement;
- to develop recommendations for improving the content of education within the educational programs implemented at USUST;
- to develop recommendations on effective methods for assessing knowledge and learning outcomes;
- to develop proposals for the effective use of the distance learning system and the latest educational information technologies;
- to analyze new methods and forms of organizing the educational process and their effectiveness.
