Erasmus+ Program
The new Erasmus+ program aims to support education, training, youth, and sports.
What does this program support?
Erasmus+ provides grants for a wide range of activities in the fields of education, training, youth, and sports. The program offers students, trainees, staff, and volunteers the opportunity to spend time abroad to enhance their qualifications and employability. It supports organizations working in international partnerships and exchanging innovative practices in the fields of education, training, and youth. The new “Sports” action supports grassroots projects and addresses cross-border issues such as match-fixing, doping, violence, and racism.
The annual call for proposals covers the following areas of the Erasmus+ program:
- KA1 – mobility of young people and youth workers: youth exchanges, volunteer projects, and professional development for youth workers;
- KA2 – cooperation projects (strategic partnerships): cooperation between organizations in the field of innovation and exchange of best practices;
- KA3 – support for reforms (youth dialogue): meetings between young people and policymakers in the field of youth policy;
- Jean Monnet activities;
- Sports.
The strategy for 2021-2027 opens additional avenues for collaboration: volunteering and active engagement in civic participation, internationalization, inclusion, virtual exchange as a tool of the modern era, joint master’s programs, research development in joint European laboratories, and other plans for the reform and modernization of educational, scientific, and social processes.
