Project-grant program of the EU “Horizon Europe”: science, technology, innovation

Horizon Europe is a 7-year research program of the European Union that will replace the “Horizon 2020” program. The European Commission has developed and approved the plan for the “Horizon Europe” program, which aims to increase funding for science in the EU by 50% during 2021-2027 to address the crisis caused by the spread of COVID-19.

Today’s Commission proposal for the “Horizon Europe” program is an ambitious research and innovation initiative with almost €100 billion aimed at reinforcing the success achieved by the “Horizon 2020” program.
