CREATE Center
The Shared Research Facilities Center ‘Functional Materials Science and Innovative Materials’ (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was established at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies in order to provide access to modern laboratory equipment for conducting research and development activities. The Center enables the use of high-tech equipment for research in the fields of functional materials science and innovative materials.
Key Objectives of the Center
- Promotion of scientific research: The Center provides access to equipment for conducting fundamental and applied research, thereby contributing to the development of Ukraine’s scientific and technological potential.
- Support for early-career researchers: The Center actively engages students, Master’s students, PhD students, and early-career researchers in research activities, fostering their professional development.
- International cooperation: The Center promotes international scientific and technical collaboration by creating conditions for joint research projects with foreign research institutions and universities.
- Implementation of national programmes: The Center actively participates in the implementation of state-funded targeted research and scientific-technical programmes aimed at developing priority areas of science and technology.
Key Functions of the Center
- Access to equipment:
The Center provides access to modern equipment for conducting experimental research and development activities. - Research:
The Center carries out scientific research and analytical work using advanced equipment, including the determination of material properties. - Technical support:
The Center ensures technical maintenance of equipment, performs scheduled servicing, and provides consultative support to users. - Information support:
The Center offers information, methodological, and organizational support to ensure the effective use of the equipment. - Open access to data:
The Center ensures open access to scientific data obtained using public funding, in compliance with intellectual property protection and confidentiality requirements. - Fee-based services:
The Center provides fee-based research and development services to research institutions, universities, and other organizations.
Participants of the Center
The participants of the Center include research institutions, higher education institutions, researchers, students, Master’s students, PhD students, and other entities engaged in scientific activity that have entered into a joint activity agreement.
The Center also provides services to private clients who are not participants of the Center, on the basis of contractual agreements.
The Shared Research Facilities Center ‘Functional Materials Science and Innovative Materials’ is a modern platform for the development of scientific research and innovative solutions in the field of materials science!
