Dear applicants, students, scientists!

Currently, the space industry is undergoing unprecedented growth and development, stimulated by both state space programs and private space initiatives. This rapid growth creates a significant demand for skilled professionals in space engineering, systems integration, space medicine and many other related disciplines. The opening of a specialized institute, focused on the training of high-quality specialists in these fields, is a timely and strategically important step.

Analysis of global trends shows that in the coming decades, the market for space services and technologies may exceed 1 trillion dollars. This reflects not only the increase in the number of launches and the development of new space vehicles but also the growing interest in space tourism, deep space exploration, and the development of satellite technologies and their applications in various fields, from telecommunications to climate monitoring.

According to reports from leading analytical agencies, the shortage of specialists in the space industry at the international level amounts to tens of thousands of qualified engineers and researchers. This shortage is particularly acute in segments such as spacecraft design and the development of new types of rocket engines.

In this context, the proposed training program at the SEI “Aerospace Institute” will focus on developing unique competencies that align with the latest achievements in space technology. In addition to classical disciplines such as aerodynamics, rocket building, and orbital mechanics, the program includes interdisciplinary courses that meet and will continue to meet the requirements of Industry 4.0 and 5.0, providing graduates with knowledge that will be relevant at the time of their graduation and employment.

Given the rapid development of space technologies and the expansion of space activities, the creation of SEI “Aerospace Institute” will ensure the training of highly qualified specialists capable of making significant contributions to the development of the industry and strengthening the scientific and technological potential of the country in the global space community.

Kostiantyn SUKHYI
