USUST Students Gifted Children a New Year’s Fairy Tale

On the eve of the New Year, December 28, 2024, the Student Council of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies organized a charitable event for children at the Dnipro Opera and Ballet Theater. The event was a natural continuation of the charity fair held by university students in early December, during which a significant sum was raised for a noble cause.

With the funds collected, the university students purchased New Year’s gifts and set up special entertainment zones. The children were welcomed into the festively decorated theater lobby, where exciting games and activities awaited them. The joyful faces of the children, their laughter, and their delight were the best rewards for all participants of the event. In the auditorium, the young attendees enjoyed a magical New Year’s performance presented by the theater’s artists. It was a unique opportunity not only to immerse themselves in a fairy-tale world but also to get acquainted with the art of opera.

The university is proud of its students, who not only excel academically but also demonstrate active civic engagement by helping those in need.
