USUST professor Marharyta Skyba becomes a laureate of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine prize for young scientists
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Technology of Inorganic Substances and Ecology at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies, Marharyta Ivanivna Skyba has become a laureate of the Prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Young Scientists 2025 for her research work entitled ‘Innovative Approaches to the ‘Green’ Synthesis of Functional Nanosystems for Targeted Applications’.
The high state award was conferred by resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 4713-IX of December 4, 2025 for relevant research in the field of modern inorganic chemistry and environmental technologies.
Marharyta Skyba’s work focuses on the implementation of environmentally safe methods for the synthesis of nanomaterials that can be applied in industry, biomedical technologies, purification systems, and other areas where the combination of high efficiency and environmental safety is critically important.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize traditionally honors the most talented young scientists of the country, whose research lays the foundation for the development of Ukrainian science and technology. USUST is proud that a representative of our academic community, a researcher whose results have received high professional recognition at the national level, is among this year’s laureates.
