Appreciation to the Student Council of USUST from the Ukrainian Students League

On December 14, 2024, the VII Congress of the Ukrainian Students League (USL) took place in Ivano-Frankivsk—a large-scale event that brought together representatives from over 80 universities and 15 public organizations to discuss pressing issues of student governance and educational development.

The university was represented at the event by the Head of the USUST Student Council, Veli Bekirov. The Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies received a commendation from the Public Union “Ukrainian Students League” for its active participation in charitable initiatives. Students and faculty of our university regularly organize fairs and raise funds to support military personnel, internally displaced persons, and children in need.

Overall, the Charitable Organization “Ukrainian Students League,” co-founder of the namesake union, has delivered over 820 tons of humanitarian aid to 60 cities across Ukraine and raised over 22 million UAH to support military personnel and civilians since the start of the war.

The Congress served as a vital platform for developing strategic solutions to enable youth to contribute to positive changes in Ukrainian society. The USUST Student Council continues to work actively towards advancing the educational environment and supporting social initiatives.
