USUST Students – Prizewinners of the Ukrainian Judo Championship

From March 4 to 6, 2025, Uzhhorod hosted the Ukrainian Judo Championship for juniors under 21. This competition served as a qualifying event for international tournaments, including the Junior European Cups.

Students of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies showcased a high level of preparation and secured awards at the national championship:

• Dmytro Lebid (1st year, group FCS/017-24-2B, SEI Prydniprovska State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports) – gold medal in the under 100 kg weight category. He is a European champion and a silver medalist at the World Cadet Championships.
• Kira Titovets (1st year, group FCS/017-24-2B, SEI Prydniprovska State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports) – silver medal in the under 70 kg weight category.
• Veronika Chernukha (1st year, group FV/014-24-1B, SEI Prydniprovska State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports) – bronze medal at the Ukrainian Championship.
