USUST Signed a Partnership and Cooperation Agreement with Energoatom

On May 8, 2025, Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies and the Joint Stock Company “National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom” signed a cooperation agreement. The purpose of the agreement is to foster partnership in training specialists for the nuclear energy sector and to implement joint educational projects.

The parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas:

• organization of career guidance events;
• internships and practical training for university students;
• implementation of dual education;
• participation in research activities and scientific-technical conferences.

The Rector of USUST, Professor Kostiantyn Sukhyi, emphasized that the partnership with Energoatom will provide students with the opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge and skills directly at nuclear industry enterprises. According to him, this will contribute to the training of highly qualified professionals capable of working on strategically important projects for Ukraine.

Acting Chairman of the Board of JSC NNEGC “Energoatom” Petro Kotin stressed that the company is interested in attracting young specialists. He highlighted the importance of workforce development to ensure the stable operation of the nuclear industry and to support new projects in the field of energy security.

The agreement opens up new opportunities for USUST students and faculty, granting them access to cutting-edge production technologies, innovative research, and real-world cases in the field of nuclear energy.
