USUST Medalists at the Para-Athletics Tournament

From February 6 to 14, 2025, an international para-athletics tournament took place in Dubai (UAE), featuring athletes from 41 countries. The Ukrainian national team was represented by eight athletes, including students and graduates of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies, who delivered outstanding performances.

USUST graduate Vladyslav Bilyi claimed gold in the javelin throw (F38 class), while fourth-year student of the Department of Athletics at SEI Prydniprovsk State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports, Valerii Konov (group FV/014-21-1b), won bronze in the javelin throw (F35 class).

A special thanks to coach Tetiana Leonidivna Zakharovska, whose professional support helped Valerii achieve this result!

In total, the Ukrainian team has already secured seven medals (2 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze).
