USUST delegation presented innovative developments at the 2U Tech Forum

The world of the 21st century is shaping new rules for development, where the speed of innovation implementation and effective cooperation between science and the real sector of the economy play a key role. This was the guiding idea behind the 2U Tech Forum, one of the largest engineering and technology events of the year, bringing together leading researchers, developers, industry representatives, and promising innovative projects.

The forum became an important platform for discussing current technological trends in additive manufacturing, automation of production processes, digital transformation of industry, advanced materials science, and biomedical engineering. The participants had the opportunity to join panel discussions, practical workshops, and presentations of cutting-edge solutions that are already shaping the future of global industry.

The Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies once again demonstrated its strong scientific and educational potential. The university was represented at the forum by a powerful delegation of leading researchers, academics, and young scientists.

The USUST delegation included:
  • Yuliia Polishchuk, Director of the Research Centre for Innovative Materials and Technologies, Senior Researcher at the Research Laboratory of Battery Systems and Energy of the SEI ‘USUCT’, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Inorganic Substances and Ecology;
  • Oleh Kalinichenko, Senior Researcher at the Department of Fuel, Polymer and Printing Materials Technologies of the SEI ‘USUCT’, specialist in the development of biocompatible coatings for implants, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor;
  • Olena Khomenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Senior Researcher, academic secretary of the Department of Chemical Technologies of Ceramics, Glass and Biomedical Materials;
  • Oleksii Sihunov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, head of the Pre-University Training Centre;
