USUST Celebrated the Day of Defenders of Ukraine with a Series of Patriotic Events

The Day of Defenders of Ukraine is a holiday symbolizing the heroism of the Ukrainian people, as well as the courage and dedication of those who defend the independence and freedom of our nation. The Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (USUST) hosted a series of patriotic events dedicated to this important date.

SEI “Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture”: Festive Concert and Charity Fair

SEI PSACEA held a festive concert titled “Land of Glory and Valor,“ organized by the concert studio “Let’s Unite!” The participants of the concert honored the memory of fallen heroes with their performances and expressed support for the defenders who are currently protecting our country. The songs and performances touched the audience deeply, filling their hearts with patriotism.

In addition, SEI PSACEA hosted a charity fair where students raised funds to support Ukrainian soldiers. Handmade crafts, treats, and creative works from the fair’s participants attracted great interest among visitors.

SEI “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology”: Charity Fair and Poetry Flash Mob

At SEI USUCT, students and faculty organized a charity fair where different faculties presented baked goods, drinks, handmade crafts, paintings, and bracelets. All the funds raised were donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the fair, participants laid flowers at the memorial for students, graduates, and staff who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine’s independence. This event left a profound impact on everyone present, reminding them of the price we pay for freedom.

Additionally, SEI USUCT’s library hosted a poetry flash mob titled “Victory Belongs to Those Who Remember”, where students recited patriotic poems dedicated to the themes of war, struggle, and triumph. The flash mob became a symbol of the unshakable spirit and unity of the nation in the face of hardship.

USUST Scientific Library: Charity Event “”Antique of Perspectives”

From September 30 to October 30, USUST’s Scientific Library is holding the charity event “Antiquarian Views”. The event aims to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the sale of rare editions and antique books. This is a wonderful opportunity not only to enrich your personal library with valuable works but also to make a significant contribution to our shared victory.

This series of events united students, faculty, and all those who care in supporting those who fight daily for Ukraine’s future. Each event emphasized the importance of unity, solidarity, and remembrance of our heroes.
