USUST Basketball Players Win Silver at the 2025 Universiade

On May 14, 2025, the men’s basketball team of Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies took second place in the regional Universiade basketball tournament held at the National Technical University “Dnipro Polytechnic”.

Under the guidance of experienced coach Alla Kyrychenko, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, and Health of SEI USUCT, our athletes demonstrated a high level of play and strong team cohesion. In the final match, they were narrowly defeated by the host team from Dnipro Polytechnic, but secured a confident victory over the team of the University of Customs and Finance.

The team was awarded a certificate of recognition by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Branch of the Center for Physical Education and Sports for Pupils and Students of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
