USUST at the FUTURE DNIPRO career guidance festival

On February 26, 2026, a large-scale career guidance festival, FUTURE DNIPRO, took place in Dnipro at the Menorah Center (Grand Hall). The event served as a citywide platform of opportunities, bringing together school pupils of 9–11 grades, students of vocational education institutions, higher education institutions, employers, as well as representatives of cultural and sports organizations.

The FUTURE DNIPRO festival was organized with the support of the charitable foundation ‘For Children’, headed by Mariia Pinchuk-Vzhezhevska, in cooperation with the Dnipro City Council and Oleh Tupytsia, head of the Coordination Council for Higher Education under the mayor of Dnipro.

All educational and scientific institutes of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies took part in the festival, presenting informative exhibits and presentation materials that clearly demonstrated the wide range of educational opportunities offered by the university. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about more than 240 educational programs covering technical, engineering, economic, humanities, and interdisciplinary fields.

Prospective applicants showed strong interest in programs in chemical engineering, civil engineering and architecture, transport and infrastructure, metallurgy, aerospace engineering, as well as in digital and computer technologies, robotics, and the development of artificial intelligence. Interest was also expressed in programs related to physical education and sports, along with other fields of study offered by the university.

Each USUST location functioned as a space for lively dialogue. School pupils and students asked questions about admission requirements, internship opportunities, participation in international programs, research activities, and future career prospects. Representatives of the institutes showcased modern developments and examples of student projects, explaining how the knowledge acquired at the university is applied in the real sector of the economy.

The festival was attended by the Vice-Rector for Research and Academic Affairs, Advertising, Information Activities and Communications, Professor Olha Ryzhova, as well as the leadership of the SEI ‘USUCT’, deans, and representatives of the admissions committee. The university’s leadership emphasized the importance for young people to see real opportunities for professional and personal development in Dnipro and are able to make an informed choice regarding their future profession.

Participation in the event once again proved that USUST, as the largest university in the region, offers extensive opportunities for shaping an individual educational trajectory and building a professional future in Ukraine.
