USUST at the European Institute of Innovation and Technology Conference

Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies participated in the scientific conference “Developing Practical Skills Among Scientists, Students, and Entrepreneurs”. The event took place on November 12–13, 2024, in Warsaw, Poland, under the initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, with participation from leading universities and institutes in Poland, Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, Latvia, Sweden, Bosnia, and Herzegovina.

Key presentations included:

• The European Path in the Development of the Applied Technology Industry;
• Innovations for Growth: Shaping the Future Through Entrepreneurship;
• Supporting Talent in Developing Practical Skills Among Scientists, Students, and Entrepreneurs: The Experience of Wrocław Technical School;
• Education, Science, and Technology in Wartime Conditions;
• The Role of Education in Deep Tech for Governments and Investors;
• Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on Skill Development and Learning.

Particularly notable were the speeches by former Bulgarian Minister of Innovation and Technology, Milena Stoycheva (“The Entrepreneur’s Journey Through Innovation and Change Theory”), and Deputy Head of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Professor Dariusz Jemielniak, who presented a vision for the future of educational processes.

As USUST transitions to a new format, the conference provided a valuable opportunity to promote the university’s innovative ideas, establish new connections with leading European institutions, and adopt European experience in organizing education and developing educational technologies to meet today’s challenges.
