USUST at Dnipro Education City 2025

On May 3, 2025, the Vokzalna metro station hosted the educational and career guidance festival Dnipro Education City 2025. From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the space transformed into a large educational map where school students, parents, and all interested visitors could learn about higher, pre-tertiary, and vocational education institutions in the city.

This year, the festival featured 13 universities, 8 vocational schools, and 21 colleges. Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies traditionally attracted significant attention — our booths were constantly surrounded by visitors.

For the first time, representatives of the SEI ”Prydniprovska State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports” (SEI PDAFKIS) joined USUST at a shared location. This collaboration made it possible to showcase a wider range of fields and broaden applicants’ understanding of educational opportunities.

Five major USUST institutes, along with the Department of Military Training of Specialists for the State Special Transport Service, presented educational programs in the following areas:

  • Transport, Construction, and Architecture
  • Chemical Technologies, Metallurgy, and Printing
  • Digital Technologies and Robotics
  • Food Industry
  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Physical Culture and Sports

In total, 220 educational programs were presented, covering both classical and cutting-edge specialties.

A special atmosphere was created by performances from student creative teams. The USUST student team “USUST Project”, participants of the League of Laughter, delivered a dynamic and humorous stand-up presentation about our university’s institutes, academic features, and student life.

A highlight of our presentation was the video version of this year’s Sakura Fest 2025, which had taken place at USUST just a week earlier. The video transported viewers into a springtime mood of inspiration and beauty.

Our faculty members and students eagerly communicated with prospective applicants, shared their experiences, and answered questions about admission, studying, and campus life at USUST.

Once again, the festival proved: USUST is quality education, a strong team, and the place where your journey into the profession of the future begins!
