USUST and the Frantsevych Institute for Problems of Materials Science of the NAS of Ukraine Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
On May 27, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies and Frantsevych Institute for Problems of Materials Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The document outlines the development of a partnership in the scientific and educational fields, including:
- creating conditions for dual education;
- student internships based on the scientific infrastructure of the IPMS of the NAS of Ukraine;
- joint implementation of research and educational projects;
- faculty exchange and organization of joint scientific events;
- co-authored publications of research results.
The Memorandum was signed by USUST Rector Kostiantyn Sukhyi, Director of the SEI “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” Olha Sverdlikovska, and Director of the Frantsevych Institute for Problems of Materials Science of the NAS of Ukraine Hennadii Bahliuk. The meeting was also attended by Senior Research Fellow of the IPMS of the NAS of Ukraine Yevhenii Polunkin, Deputy Director of the SEI “Aerospace Institute” Kostiantyn Varlan, and Head of the Department of Innovation Engineering of the SEI “USUCT” Oleh Kabat.
