Dear women scientists, lecturers, students, and everyone contributing to the development of science and education!
On the eve of International Women’s Day, we would like to extend our warmest congratulations on this wonderful occasion, which highlights the crucial role of women in society, science, and education.
According to UNESCO, only 28% of scientists worldwide are women. In Ukraine, this figure is significantly higher — 45%, ranking our country 12th among 41 nations in terms of the number of women in science. This demonstrates that Ukrainian women successfully pursue careers in various scientific fields, from social and medical sciences to technical disciplines.
We take pride in our women scientists, who annually make significant contributions to the advancement of science and the prestige of Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies. Today, we celebrate each and every one of you who has dedicated yourself to scientific research and would like to acknowledge those with the highest number of publications in the Scopus and Web of Science databases from 2020 to 2024.
