The Second Grant Writing Training
On December 6, 2024, the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies hosted the second grant writing training focused on preparing and submitting project proposals for participation in the “Horizon Europe” competitive programs. The event was organized by the National Contact Point of the “Horizon Europe” program in the “Climate, Energy, and Mobility” sector with the involvement of specialists from the “Horizon Europe Office” of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.
Around 40 participants attended the training, which covered key topics such as:
- Forming a project team;
- Structural elements of a grant proposal;
- Integrating the DNSH principle into project proposals.
The planned topics were presented by leading specialists and practitioners with extensive experience in implementing scientific projects under the “Horizon Europe” programs:
- Nataliia Chernova, Cand. of Econ. Sc., Associate Professor, and Head of the International Relations Department at USUST;
- Maryna Babenko, Cand. of Tech. Sc., Associate Professor, and Head of the International Scientific Cooperation Center;
- Yuliia Reminska, Doc. of Philosophy in Law and Senior Specialist at the “Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine” of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.
Professor Vladyslav DANISHEVSKYI, Dr. of Tech. Sc. and Head of the National Contact Point, summarized the event’s outcomes and announced upcoming informational and training activities to be organized soon.
