Students’ Picnic at Tunelna Balkа

On September 13, 2025, students of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies gathered for their traditional picnic at Tunelna Balka – a picturesque green area in Dnipro that became a favorite leisure spot for the city’s residents long ago.

 

The initiative, which started years ago at the SEI ‘PSACEA’, has turned into a great tradition that brings students together. This year, even future students joined in  to connect more closely with the university community.

 

The program was full and engaging: cheerful contests, games, lively conversations, and new acquaintances. Songs sung together – from ‘Boombox’ to ‘Dorofeeva’ enhanced the atmosphere. For first-year students, it was a great opportunity to integrate more quickly into university life, for all participants it became a chance to take a break from daily routines, recharge with positive energy, and support one another.

 

Such gatherings are more than just relaxation but also an opportunity to get to know our university better and to realize that USUST is not only about education, but also about a community where it is pleasant to study, communicate, and build a shared future.
