Second Grant Writing School Webinar by UDUNT’s National Contact Point
On June 10, 2025, SEI ‘Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture’, USUST hosted the second webinar in its Grant Writing School series. The thematic focus of the session was “Climate, Energy, and Mobility”. The event was organized by the National Contact Point (NCP) at USUST in cooperation with the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine.
More than 74 participants registered, with over 60 attendees joining the event live. The webinar gathered participants from across the country, including representatives from Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernihiv regions, and Kyiv.
The event was held in a hybrid format — some attendees participated in person in Dnipro, while others joined online via Zoom.
The session focused on:
- Development of a strong project logic
- Understanding Horizon Europe calls and participation rules
- Tools for project documentation preparation
Participants received:
- Step-by-step guidance on project proposal structure
- Insights into partnership requirements and logical framework approaches
- Practical advice on interpreting Call texts
Key speakers were:
- Dr. Vladyslav Danishevskyi, Professor, Director of SEI ‘Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture’, USUST, head of the National Contact Point.
- Olha Lytvynenko, Acting Head of the Center for International Education and Cooperation at USUST, grant manager, business coach, and course author.
- Anna Serdinova, PhD in Economics, lead specialist in the International Relations Department, and Intern at the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
- Taisiia Symochko, senior specialist at the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, National Research Foundation of Ukraine
