Laboratories

The Center for Research in Engineering, Additive Technologies, and Materials (CREATE) is a structural unit within the Center for Collective Use of Scientific Equipment “Functional Materials Science and Innovative Materials”, established on the basis of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology (USUST) in order to provide access to modern scientific equipment for conducting scientific research and development.

Objectives of the CREATE Center:
To expand the University’s research infrastructure, enabling the following activities:
  • development of innovative materials (including nanomaterials) and functional coatings;
  • investigation of the physicochemical, technological, and operational properties of new materials and coatings;
  • establishment of theoretical foundations and development of practical recommendations for the subsequent production of structures using additive manufacturing technologies for medicine, industry, energy, and construction, based on advanced materials.

Funding
 
The establishment of the CREATE Center is funded through the external assistance from the European Union aimed at supporting Ukraine’s commitments under the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020.
