Particular attention was drawn to the representatives of student self-government, who talked about university life ‘from the inside’ including studies, opportunities for personal development, leisure activities, and the overall student experience. Nearby, the Admissions Committee was also available, offering up-to-date information and guidance on admission requirements.
Later, participants gathered near the stage. Professor Olha Ryzhova, Vice-Rector for Reasearch and Academic Affairs, Advertising and Information Activities, and Communications at USUST, welcomed the audience and announced a prize draw with pleasant gifts to take place at the end of the event. Associate Professor Serhii Baidak, executive secretary of the USUST Admissions Committee, gave a detailed presentation on the key features of the 2026 admissions campaign: what applicants should pay attention to, how to choose NMT subjects, how the competitive score is calculated, and how to set priorities correctly when submitting applications. His practical advice and clear explanations generated lively interest among prospective students and their parents.
The true culmination of the event was a spectacular chemical show– bright, dynamic, and captivating. The boldest spectators even had the opportunity to participate in the experiments themselves, which added even more excitement and unforgettable impressions.
The festive mood continued with a performance by the USUST dance group ‘Just Dance’, whose energetic routine in hats brought rhythm, celebration, and great emotions to the audience.
