Reorganization of the Department of Military Training of Specialists of the State Special Transport Service at USUST into a Faculty

At the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies, in accordance with the requirements of the Directive of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service, the Department of Military Training of Specialists of the State Special Transport Service has been reorganized. The unit now operates as the Faculty of Military Training of the State Special Transport Service at USUST.

 

The decision to change the status of the structural unit is a logical outcome of its dynamic development over recent years. The department has significantly strengthened its academic, research, human resources, and material and technical capacity, and its capabilities have already exceeded the scope of a traditional department.

 

The reorganization into a faculty opens new opportunities to expand organizational capacity, enhance the educational process, and create stable conditions for the long-term development of military training at the university.

 

The Faculty of Military Training of the State Special Transport Service has over 30 years of experience in training officer personnel. Since 1993, the department has been preparing specialists for the State Special Transport Service and the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

 

Today, the faculty focuses on  hands-on training, developing in students the skills required for modern military service. The educational process combines applied knowledge, professional experience of instructors, and a supportive learning environment that fosters effective interaction between teachers and cadets. The establishment of the faculty represents an important stage in the institutional development of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies, aimed at enhancing the quality of military education, training competitive specialists, and strengthening Ukraine’s defence capacity.
