Online Meeting of USUST students with HARIKA ENGINEERING

On March 4, 2026, as part of the cooperation agreement, an online meeting was held between the representatives of the international company HARIKA ENGINEERING and students and graduates of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies.

The event was aimed at strengthening cooperation between the university and the company in the areas of graduate employment and the organization of industrial and pre-graduation internships, creating further opportunities for professional development.  HARIKA ENGINEERING provides a full range of services for the technical maintenance and support of Hyundai Rotem Company high-speed electric trains, type S2 (HRCS2). In addition, the company is engaged in the maintenance, repair, and modernization of rolling stock, including Škoda electric trains, passenger coaches, metro rolling stock, and other railway equipment.

The company was represented by Commercial Director Osman Nuri Kopyurluoglu, Chief Engineer Serhii Hryshchenko, Head of the Preventive Maintenance Department Oleksii Kushnarenko, Head of the Logistics Department Serhii Borenko, and HR Specialist Olena Samus.

The event was attended by around 100 students and graduates of the SEI ‘Dnipro Institute of Infrastructure and Transport’ of the J7 Railway Transport speciality, as well as the representatives of related fields of study. After the presentation, students actively asked questions about working conditions, current job openings, salary, career prospects, and the social benefits offered by the company.

The management team, including Professor Mykhailo Kapitsa, director of the SEI ‘DIIT’, faculty deans, and Oleksii Sihunov, head of the Career Development, Employment, and Stakeholder Relations Office, emphasized the importance of such meetings for the professional development of students and graduates.
