New Partnership for Specialist Training

On November 13, 2024, a memorandum of cooperation was signed as part of the deepening of dual education between the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies and the leading corrugated cardboard manufacturer, “Helios” LTD LLC. The director of the enterprise, Oleh Tulin, and the acting rector of the university, Kostiantyn Sukhyi, reached an agreement that opens new opportunities for students of the Scientific and Educational Institute “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” (SEI USUCT) to gain practical skills in a modern production environment..

During the meeting, attended by the acting director of SEI USUCT, Olha Sverdlikovska, and the head of production at “Helios” LTD LLC, Serhii Umantsev, the directions for cooperation were discussed to ensure that students acquire the practical knowledge needed in the field of corrugated cardboard production.

Institute students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves directly in modern manufacturing processes, mastering the nuances of working with cardboard and packaging, as well as studying the principles of flexographic printing through applying logos and other graphics. University and enterprise representatives expressed a shared commitment to active collaboration, which will contribute to the training of future specialists and the development of national production.
