Miss and Mister USUST at EDUCATION FEST
In the foyer, exhibitions and presentations of the Scientific and Educational Institutes of USUST were showcased. Future applicants had the chance to explore innovative specialties, interact with representatives of the admissions office and current students. Volunteers participating in the event created a warm and welcoming environment.
A highlight of the day was a meeting with distinguished individuals. From the stage of the main hall, Acting Rector of USUST, Kostiantyn SUKHYI, addressed students and guests, emphasizing the crucial importance of education on the path to a successful future. The event’s special guest was Yaroslava MAHUCHIKH, an Olympic champion and university student, who drew attention to the value of perseverance and self-improvement

Right on stage, Yaroslava received her bachelor’s diploma and left her autograph on a USUST merchandise t-shirt, symbolizing the university students’ aspirations for excellence and achievements.
The bright culmination of the celebration was «the Miss and Mister USUST 2024» contest. Participants competed in creative performances, runway showcases, and talent demonstrations, cheered on by the audience’s thunderous applause. The winners were:
- Miss USUST – Yelyzaveta VASIUKHNO, a student at SEI «Prydniprovska State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports»
- Mister USUST – Viacheslav DERKACH, a student at SEI «Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture».

- First Vice-Mister – Valentyn KOLIESNIKOV (Department of Military Training of The SSTS)
- First Vice-Miss – Svitlana SUKHOVII (SEI USUCT).
Prizes, emotions, and participants’ vibrant performances left unforgettable impressions on students and guests alike. A prize draw, which included power banks, tote bags, and certificates for preparatory courses, was a pleasant bonus for prospective applicants
