III International Conference on Logistics and Transport Security held at USUST

On 20 November 2025, the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies hosted the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Logistics and Transport Security: challenges and development prospects in the context of modern threats’.
 
This year’s forum united Ukrainian scholars, transport industry experts, business representatives, and international partners from Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Turkey, China, and Moldova. The participants presented the results of their research, shared practical case studies, and outlined areas for further cooperation in the context of global challenges.
 
The participants focused on issues related to the development of logistics infrastructure, the improvement of transport security systems, and the introduction of innovative technologies which can strengthen the resilience of transport systems in the context of military and hybrid threats.
 
During the discussions, several priority areas were identified:
• protection of critical infrastructure and strengthening its resilience;
• digital solutions for the transport sector;
• restoration and development of transport infrastructure during wartime;
• security of logistics chains and operation of the sector in emergency conditions;
• professional training and human capital development;
• international partnerships and integration into the European transport space.
 
The conference was held in the format of three-discussion panels dedicated to:
• Critical infrastructure and its protection under hybrid threats.
• Restoration and development of Ukraine’s transport infrastructure during the war and in the post-war period.
• Safety and resilience of logistics and transport systems in conditions of modern challenges.
 
The panels actively addressed  the issues of intersectoral cooperation, innovations in logistics, economic resilience, human factor, and international support.
Based on the outcomes of the conference, practical recommendations were developed to enhance transport security and support the development of logistics under the rapidly changing conditions of global environment.
