Education and business partnership: EPAM Ukraine donated 50 modern computers to USUST
EPAM Ukraine, a leading company in Ukraine’s IT industry, has donated 50 modern computers to the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies. The new equipment will soon be used by students of the Faculty of Applied Computer Technologies at the SEI ‘DMI’and the Faculty of Computer Technologies and Systems at the SEI ‘DIIT’.
The cooperation between USUST and EPAM Ukraine began in 2022 during the conference ‘Collaboration between education and business’. At that time, a partnership agreement was signed, which served as the foundation for for the further active cooperation.
Since then, USUST students have been actively involved in EPAM Ukraine’s educational initiatives: undertake internships, complete open online courses, participate in hackathons, IT marathons, and workshops, attend guest lectures by industry professionals, and visit the company’s offices.
Such support not only strengthens the university’s material and technical resources, but also contributes to the development of modern competencies among future IT professionals, who can realize their potential in Ukraine.
USUST expresses its sincere gratitude to EPAM Ukraine for their significant contribution to the development of IT education, support of students, and promotion of integration between academic community and business needs.
