Dnipro League of Laughter and OpenDay at USUST

On September 25, 2025, the Palace of Culture of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (USUST) was a venue where education met humor. On this day, the third stage of the Dnipro League of Laughter took place, combining not only performances by student teams from across Ukraine but also a true OpenDay for school pupils and prospective students.

 

Even before the concert began, the foyer of the Palace of Culture was alive with activity: an exhibition was organized by the Admissions Office, faculties, and graduating departments. University representatives presented academic programs, spoke about study opportunities, and highlighted the benefits of education at USUST. The festive atmosphere was also experienced by the guests – students of Lyceums No. 130, No. 137, No. 7, and No. 67, who attended the event together with their teachers.

 

The highlight of the evening was the League of Laughter. The audience responded with cheers, laughter, and applause to the witty jokes. A special feature of the event was the prize draw for the registered school pupils: a large screen displayed a wheel with their names, and a random spin determined the winners. Souvenirs with the USUST logo were personally presented on stage by a stand-up comedian and actor Kyrylo Hanin, which added even more positive emotions to the celebration.

 

The Dnipro League of Laughter and Open Day proved that student life at USUST is not only about serious studies but also about creativity and humor. For prospective students, this day was a great opportunity to see the university closer, learn about its opportunities, and experience the true spirit of student life.
