Congratulations to Serhii Bazhan on his doctoral dissertation defense

On 5 November 2025, a meeting of the specialized academic council for the defence of doctoral dissertations (D 26.455.03) was held at the State Institution of Higher Education ‘University of Educational Management’ of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.

 

Serhii Petrovych Bazhan, Vice-Rector for Research and Academic Affairs and Continuing Education at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies, presented his research entitled ‘Management of a university technical education and research cluster based on the principles of integration’.

 

The official opponents were:

• Hryhorii Vasylovych Lutsenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work at Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University;

• Hanna Yuriyivna Kravchenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Administration and Special Education at the State Institution of Higher Education ‘University of Educational Management’ of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine;

• Tetiana Ivanivna Stoichyk, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Director of the Municipal Institution of Education ‘Kryvyi Rih Mining College’ of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Associate Professor of the Department of Vocational and Social-Humanitarian Education at Kryvyi Rih National University.

 

The members of the Specialized Academic Council and the official opponents highly praised the research, emphasising its relevance, novelty and practical significance.

By the unanimous decision of the council, Serhii Petrovych Bazhan was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences in the specialty 13.00.06 – Theory and Methodology of Education Management.
