Ceremonial Completion of NMT Preparatory Courses at USUST
On July 5, 2025, a festive event was held at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies on the occasion of completing the seven-month preparatory courses in general education subjects for prospective students who were preparing to take the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT). This event became a significant milestone in the lives of each participant and demonstarted the effectiveness and success of the training provided by our university.
During the official part of the ceremony, all participants received certificates of their successful course completion, as well as statements granting them up to 10 additional points to their admission ranking in case they apply to state-supported specialties at the university. For many of them, this was the first step toward their dream of entering a higher education institution, and for us – it was a moment of pride in their perseverance, determination, and outstanding achievements.
Qualified university instructors took part in the preparation process, helping applicants consolidate their knowledge of key subjects and offering practical advice for performing well on the NMT:
- Iryna Vitaliivna Shapka – mathematics instructor, senior lecturer at the Department of Higher Mathematics
- Vladyslav Leonidovych Borysov – Ukrainian history instructor, associate professor at the Department of Philosophy and Ukrainian Studies
- Olena Volodymyrivna Hruzdieva – chemistry instructor, associate professor at the Department of Inorganic Substances and Ecology
- Svitlana Mykolaivna Levchenko – Ukrainian language instructor, methodologist at Dnipro Lyceum No. 7 of the Dnipro City Council
- Olena Veniaminivna Ruts – English language instructor, senior lecturer at the Center for Preparatory Training and Education of International Students
Vitalina Volodymyrivna Shcherbyna, a leading specialist at the Department of Marketing and Career Guidance, was the dedicated coordinator who organized all communication between students, their parents, and instructors during the preparatory courses.
The knowledge gained during the courses became a solid foundation for successful test performance. It was evidenced by the strong NMT results achieved by the course graduates.
The event was attended by parents and family members of the students, who shared the joy of their children’s success. Their support played a vital role in achieving these goals, as the success of each student is a shared victory for both their families and the university community.
The course completion is just the beginning of a new chapter. The admission process, new challenges, and exciting opportunities are ahead. We are confident that our course graduates will make the right choice and become part of the large family of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies.
