Celebrations at USUST for International Students’ Day 2024

 Celebrating International Students’ Day is a longstanding and cherished tradition for all higher education institutions. On the eve of the holiday, November 14, 2024, students and leadership of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (USUST) gathered for a ceremonial event held in the shelter of the SEI “Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture”. The opening of the celebration provided a wonderful opportunity to honor the university’s most active students:

  • Experts in the Ukrainian language who participated in the National Unity Radio Dictation,
  •  Winners of the “Future of Ukraine in Responsibility” contest, dedicated to the All-Ukrainian Human Responsibility Day,
  • Specialists in BIM technologies,
  •  The most active participants in USUST’s concert and festive events.

 Triumphant students were awarded certificates, special honors, and sweet treats by Acting Rector, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, and Professor Kostiantyn Mykhailovych Sukhyi. He wished the students a thirst for knowledge and success in all their endeavors and projects. Joining the congratulations were Halyna Petriivna Yevsieieva, USUST’s Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Humanitarian Policy, Doctor of Public Administration, and Professor, as well as Vladyslav Valentynovych Danishhevskyi, Director of the SEI “Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture”, Doctor of Technical Sciences, and Professor.

 Although International Students’ Day has its roots in tragic events related to the fight for rights and dignity, young learners have always been full of powerful, lifeaffirming energy. After honoring the memory of those who gave their lives for a happy future for Ukraine and those who continue to defend the country, concert participants delighted all distinguished guests with their talented performances.

 The celebration of International Students’ Day became a bright and joyful event for all students and faculty of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies.
