130th Anniversary of Mykolaiv Professional College of USUST
On September 19, 2024, the Mykolaiv Professional College of Transport Infrastructure, a separate structural unit of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (USUST), celebrated its 130th anniversary. This significant event was not only an opportunity to reflect on the institution’s proud history but also to highlight its vital role in preparing highly qualified specialists for Ukraine’s transport industry.
The anniversary celebration brought together faculty, students, graduates, and honorary guests. Congratulations from the personnel of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies were delivered by the Rector, Professor Kostiantyn Sukhyi, Rector’s Assistant Volodymyr Malynovskyi, and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Continuing Education, Serhii Bazhan.
In his welcoming speech, Professor Kostiantyn Sukhyi emphasized the significant contribution of the college to the development of education in the region and wished the staff further achievements and success. As a token of respect and gratitude, the Rector presented the college personnel with a commemorative certificate and an original painting created especially in honor of the anniversary.
“I congratulate the entire college personnel on this milestone event! Your work is immensely important for our country. You are preparing highly qualified specialists who are building our future. I wish you good health, boundless energy, and new accomplishments,” said Kostiantyn Sukhyi.
The anniversary celebration was a vivid testament to the fact that the Mykolaiv Professional College of Transport Infrastructure is one of the oldest and most respected educational institutions in southern Ukraine. Over its 130-year history, the college has trained thousands of highly qualified specialists for the transport industry, who are successfully working at enterprises in Ukraine and abroad
