Congratulations on the Day of Workers of Ukraine’s Rocket and Space Industry!

Congratulations on the Day of Workers of Ukraine’s Rocket and Space Industry!

April 12 is a special date for all humanity. It was on this day in 1961 that the first human spaceflight took place. We are proud that Ukrainian scientists, engineers, and designers have made an invaluable contribution to the development of global astronautics—from the first projects to today’s complex missions, from rocket development to the management of international programs.

Today, Ukraine remains an active participant in the space industry. Our researchers continue the tradition—working on new materials, fuel types, and advanced technologies for Moon exploration and deep space missions.

The Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies is proud to join this great cause. We have recently established the Aerospace Institute a new Scientific and Educational Institute — created in cooperation with leading industry enterprises and with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. In the upcoming academic year, we are launching a new program in specialty G12 (134) Aerospace and Rocket Engineering (educational program “Rocket Engines”). The educational process will involve top experts in the field, a modern laboratory base, and opportunities for dual education directly at production sites.

We are confident that it is in universities where the future of the space industry is being shaped—free, innovative, and Ukrainian.

Happy holiday to all who shape the orbits of the future!

Sincerely,
Kostiantyn Sukhyi
Rector of Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies
