The first lecture under the international project UKRENERGY

As part of the implementation of the international project ‘Innovative Master courses to support the improvement of the energy and carbon footprint of Ukraine’s building stock’ (UKRENERGY, ERASMUS-EDU-2022-GBHE-STRAND-2, ID 101082898), a series of online lectures delivered by professors from partner universities has begun.

On October 3, 2025, the first lecture was given by Dr. Orest Tarasovych Vozniak, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor at the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation, Institute of Building and Engineering Systems, Lviv Polytechnic National University.

The topic of the lecture was ‘Energy saving by creating a dynamic microclimate’. It was focused on modern approaches to energy efficiency through the development of dynamic indoor environments in buildings. Students and teaching staff of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies had the opportunity to join the lecture online, discuss current energy efficiency issues, and gain valuable insights from a leading expert in this field.

The UKRENERGY project is aimed at developing innovative educational programmes that integrate modern technologies, environmental awareness, and practical solutions to promote sustainable development of Ukraine’s building sector.
