Greeting from the Rector of USUST on Spring and Beauty Day

Dear ladies and young ladies,

With all my heart, I congratulate you on this day of spring and beauty – time of renewal, light, and new hope.

Our university is home to 1,489 women, representing more than 60 percent of all the staff. Among you are professors, doctors and candidates of sciences, institute directors and vice-rectors, lecturers, researchers, and staff members. You are the mind and the heart of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies. It is you who create the atmosphere of trust, mutual support, and inspiration without which neither discoveries, victories, nor daily dedicated work would be possible.

Among you are outstanding scholars and wise leaders, talented teachers and tireless organizers. Among you are also students who bring honor to the university through their knowledge and sporting achievements on the world stage – champions of Ukraine, Europe, and the world. Your victories prove that strength and femininity together can raise a person very high.

But behind these professional, academic, and sporting achievements there is something even greater and no less important. You are mothers, wives, daughters, colleagues, and friends who know how to combine strength of character with tenderness of heart, high standards with care. It is you who fill our university with warmth, humanity, and sense.

Today, I congratulate you personally and on behalf of all the men in our university community. We sincerely honor you, admire you, and thank you.

I wish you good health, inner harmony, new professional achievements, and quiet family happiness. May your lives be filled with more sunshine than anxiety, more joy than worries, and more love than doubts.

It is you who make our university not only an educational institution, but a place where the future is born. Life, development, and hope will always be where your wisdom, warmth, and love are.

May this spring bring to your home peace, calm, and determination to act in the name of flourishing Ukraine!
