Congratulations to Post-Graduate Student Valeriia Pysarkova on Successful Dissertation Defense

On August 8, 2024, a public defense of the dissertation by Valeriia Pysarkova, a post-graduate student at the Department of Entrepreneurship, Production Organization, and Theoretical and Applied Economics at SEI USUCT, took place. Her dissertation is titled “Theoretical and Methodological Approaches to the Formation of Regional Competitive Immunity” and was submitted for the attainment of the degree of Candidate of Sciences in the field of knowledge 05 Social and Behavioral Sciences, specialization 051 Economics. The scientific supervisor is Professor Inna Strelchenko.

 

The main scientific results of the dissertation work include the development of methodological provisions and an appropriate methodology for the quantitative assessment of regional competitive immunity based on the formation of a defined system of indicators, as well as the identification of interval boundaries for further classification of the obtained results by distinguishing three separate types of competitive immunity. Additionally, to automate the proposed methodology and improve the visualization of the results obtained, an interactive model was developed for calculating the integral indicator of regional competitive immunity.
