Christmas and New Year Greetings 2025

Dear friends,

As 2024 comes to an end, it is time to reflect on the past year, express gratitude for our shared achievements, and plan for the future.

This year, our university has strengthened its position as a leading scientific and educational center thanks to the synergy of renowned academic schools in metallurgy, transportation, chemistry, construction, physical culture and sports, and aerospace technologies.

The Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies is already integrating into the European scientific community, implementing landmark innovative projects. Our university’s researchers have actively participated in international exhibitions and conferences this year, gaining recognition on the global stage. At USUST, we established the only National Contact Point in the Dnipropetrovsk region for the EU Horizon Europe scientific program, focusing on the most relevant area of activity: “Climate, Energy, and Mobility”.

Our students are our pride. Recently, USUST celebrated Yaroslava Mahuchykh, our Olympic champion and world record holder in high jump, and this year’s graduate of the SEI  Prydniprovska State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports. Another star is Roman Polyanskyi, the silver medalist of the 2024 Paralympic Games in academic rowing and a student of the SEI Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology.

Dozens of our students demonstrate outstanding knowledge and aptitude in technical sciences, winning international and national competitions and olympiads. The projects of our young scientists won the competition for research and development projects funded by the state budget of Ukraine.

I want to extend special thanks to those involved in volunteer work, supporting the front lines, and helping rebuild our country. You are true patriots.

Thank you, students, for your perseverance in learning, our professors for their professional excellence, and all personnel members for your resilience, faith, and dedication to the university and Ukraine.

A new year lies ahead with new challenges and opportunities. Together, we are shaping the future by preparing skilled professionals, conducting innovative research, and addressing society’s needs.

May 2025 bring Victory, peace, health, prosperity, and joyful moments to each of us.
