The Department of Military Training at USUST announces the recruitment of Ukrainian citizens for the Reserve Officer Training Program Recruitment is conducted for military occupational specialties:

• application of military units and subdivisions in the restoration and construction of national transportation system facilities.
• application of military units and subdivisions in the restoration and construction of artificial structures on national transportation system facilities.
• application of military units and subdivisions in the mechanization of restoration and construction of national transportation system facilities.
• Organization of military communications and military transport by rail.

Terms of study:

• 2 years – for citizens who already have or are pursuing a degree of higher education not lower than a bachelor's.

Competition for the positions of professor and instructor at the Department of Military Training for SSTS specialists 1.The Department of Military Training at Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (hereinafter referred to as the Department) announces a competition for filling academic staff positions. 1.1. Position: Professor (AS 010158), 1 full-time position. Requirements:

• academic title of Professor or Doctor of Sciences with at least three years of experience in scientific and pedagogical work;
• academic title of Associate Professor (Senior Research Fellow, Senior Researcher) and a Ph.D. (Candidate of Sciences) with at least five years of experience in scientific and pedagogical work;
• academic title of Associate Professor (Senior Research Fellow, Senior Researcher) without a scientific degree with at least ten years of experience in scientific and pedagogical work.

1.2. Position: Lecturer (AS 010157), 2 full-time positions. Requirements:

• Highly qualified specialists from the State Special Transport Service (Ukrainian Armed Forces), military educational institutions (organizations), holding a master's degree in a relevant specialty.

2.Candidates must have experience in military service in the State Special Transport Service or the military communication units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and combat experience. 3.To participate in the competition, the following documents (materials) are required: an application for participation in the competition, a biography, copies of higher education documents, a copy of the Ukrainian citizen's passport certified by the candidate, a copy of the employment record book (if available) or information about employment from the registry of insured persons of the State Register of Mandatory State Social Insurance, a certificate of the presence or absence of a criminal record, a document confirming proficiency in the state language, a certificate of passing a preliminary (periodic) psychiatric examination, written consent for the collection and processing of personal data; additionally, copies of documents confirming scientific degrees, academic (honorary) titles, a list of scientific works (inventions), as well as documents confirming advanced training over the last five years (diplomas, certificates, certificates) should be submitted. 4.The deadline for submitting documents is the 26th of August 2024. Obtaining a student certificate from the Unified State Electronic Database of Education (EDEBO) from a specialist in the Military Mobilization Department Attention to full-time students of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies! To obtain a student certificate from the EDBO data according to the form specified in Appendix 9 of the Rules for the Call-Up of Citizens for Military Service During Mobilization for Special Periods, full-time students and PhD candidates need to contact the specialists of the university's military mobilization department (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM) at the following addresses:

Participation in the MSCA4Ukraine competition in 2024

Thanks to a recent addition of 10 million euros from the European Commission, the MSCA4Ukraine initiative will support additional researchers displaced from Ukraine. From the 5th of August 2024, the online application portal will be open for eligible host organizations to apply for participation in the MSCA4Ukraine scheme for scholarships for displaced researchers from Ukraine. The link to the application portal will be published on the MSCA4Ukraine website. The portal will close on the 5th of September 2024 at 11:59 PM, and no applications will be accepted after this time. This competition is expected to result in the awarding of approximately 50 doctoral and postdoctoral scholarships. All information regarding deadlines and conditions can be found at the link
