Winners of the competitive selection of scientific works funded by the EU “HORIZON 2020” Programme

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine summarized the results of the second competitive selection of scientific projects funded with EU support within the “Horizon 2020” programme. 142 projects participated, 106 of which were admitted for further consideration. Based on the expert evaluation, 33 participants were selected as winners.

The Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies submitted the project “Chemical and structural design of novel functional materials” (scientific supervisor – Kostiantyn Mykhailovych Sukhyi), which was among the top five winners in the “Infrastructure Projects” category.

For the first time, the project team included representatives from all HEIs that are part of the united university:

  • Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Ovchynnykov – SEI USUCT, Senior Researcher of the Department of Energy, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor
  • Yuliia Valeriivna Polishchuk – SEI USUCT, Associate Professor of the Department of Technology of Inorganic Substances and Ecology, Сandidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor       
  • Oleh Oleksandrovych Kalinichenko – SEI USUCT, Associate Professor of the Department of Fuel Technology, Polymer and Printing Materials, Сandidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor      
  • Marharyta Ivanivna Skyba – SEI USUCT, Professor of the Department of Technology of Inorganic Substances and Ecology, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor 
  • Svitlana Yevheniivna Shekhorkina – SEI PSACEA, Professor of the Department of Reinforced Concrete and Masonry Structures, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor
