In May 2024, every creative team from Dnipro’s higher education institutions participated in a competition for victory in the city festival “Student Spring 2024”. The team from the SEI “Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology” (USUST) won first place in this year’s festival, falling short of the winner by only 5 points out of 400 possible!

All funds received from the city council as prize money were, by joint decision of the participants, decided to be donated for the purchase of vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, thanks to the creative work of our university students and the funds received for the victory, amounting to 47,000 hryvnias, two vehicles were purchased, which will now help the 128th brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

We sincerely thank all the students for their creative contribution to the festival, as well as the artistic director of USUST, Oksana Radzimovska, for the incredible script and staging of student performances that evoked genuine emotions from the jury and audience.
