USUST Rector Kostiantyn Sukhyi Awarded the Badge “For Assistance to the Military”
On June 21, 2024, the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kamyshin, presented the badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “For Assistance to the Military” to Kostiantyn Sukhyi, the Rector of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology. This honorary award is granted for a significant contribution to strengthening cooperation in the military, scientific, social, cultural and other spheres of life of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, promoting and enhancing the image of the Armed Forces in Ukraine and the world, supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations involved in protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state.
During the ceremonial award ceremony, Oleksandr Kamyshin noted the active cooperation of USUST with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies. He also thanked Kostiantyn Sukhyi for personally initiating and organizing a number of events aimed at assisting the Ukrainian military.
“I sincerely thank you for this high award,” said Kostiantyn Sukhyi, accepting the honor. – “This is not only my personal merit, but also the result of the fruitful work of the entire USUST team. We will continue to do everything possible to help our military defeat the enemy and achieve victory in this war.”
The awarding of Kostiantyn Sukhyi with the badge “For Assistance to the Military” became another testament to the close cooperation of USUST with the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. The University is proud of its contribution to strengthening the country’s defense capabilities and supporting the Ukrainian military.
