Dear colleagues and friends!
I sincerely thank you for the trust you have placed in me during the rector elections. I perceive this as a kind of advance, because during my time as acting rector, we have discussed many tasks for the future.
After the elections, I have once again become convinced that we will be able to realize the vector of development we have chosen together for our University and each individual institute or department. Because I can rely on your trust, and you believe in my strength.
We can become a highly ranked university in Ukraine and abroad, we can achieve synergy among the five higher education institutions that have joined the University. We will provide high-quality educational services, implement innovative scientific discoveries, and respond to the needs of society. Whether it concerns the development of construction, transport, chemical or metallurgical industries, business, any field of production, and most importantly at this stage of our life, strengthening the defense capabilities of our country.
I thank everyone who participated in the rector elections! I thank my opponents! Surely, there were important positive ideas in their programs, which I will definitely take into account in further work.
Special thanks to the organizing committee and the election commission! Despite the complex moments of conducting rector elections in such a branched University, you managed to adhere to all norms and regulations, and prevent dirty methods of electoral struggle.
Create the future together, friends! Together we will achieve a common Victory over the Russian aggressor, liberate the country from occupiers, and rebuild our beloved Ukraine!
Memorize: “Science creates the future! Technology changes the world!” But both science and technology are driven by people. It’s us! Scientists and educators!
