Congratulations to the Winners of the “Science for Strengthening Ukraine’s Defense Capabilities” Competition
The Scientific Council of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (NRFU) has approved the rating list of project participants and the list of winners of the “Science for Strengthening Ukraine’s Defense Capabilities” competition.
165 applications were submitted for the competition, of which 108 underwent scientific and technical expertise. The Expert Commission identified 81 winning projects that will receive NRFU grant support, including 4 projects from the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies:
- Development of technology for components of energy-condensed materials for weapons up to 5000 km (scientific supervisor – Kostiantyn Mykhailovych Sukhyi),
- Development of the technology for the use of kirigami structures in deformation-thermal processing of plates from composite material (scientific supervisor – Yaroslav Viktorovych Frolov),
- Radiotransparent strontium-anorthite ceramics for rocket technology products and elements of electronic systems (scientific supervisor – Oleksandr Viktorovych Zaichuk),
- Development of the technology for remelting scrap of military equipment in order to preserve expensive alloying elements in the smelting of special functional purpose steels (scientific supervisor – Yurii Serhiiovych Proidak).
