A Cooperation Memorandum Signed with the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU)

On July 2, 2024, the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (USUST) and the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, which aims to deepen the partnership relations between the two universities.
 
During the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum, USUST Rector Kostiantyn Sukhyi and STU Rector Oliver Moravchyk  expressed their mutual desire to expand cooperation in the fields of education, science, and innovation.
 
Kostiantyn Sukhyi highlighted the significant support that STU provided to Ukrainian students who were forced to leave their country due to the war. “We are sincerely grateful to STU for their help and understanding,” said the USUST Rector. “It is a great honor for us to cooperate with such a prestigious university as STU,” he added.
 
Oliver Moravchyk emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine during these challenging times. “We believe that education and science are key factors for the development of any country,” noted the STU Rector. “And we are ready to contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine and its peaceful future.”
  • The Memorandum of Cooperation includes:
  • Expanding student and faculty exchanges;
  • Joint implementation of scientific projects;
  • Participation in international programs and grants;
  • Sharing experiences and best practices.
The signing of the Memorandum is another step towards strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and Slovakia. USUST and STU are committed to productive and long-term cooperation, which will benefit both universities and the development of science and education in both countries.
